Bandung, ummi.ac.id - Tapak Suci Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi (UMMI), once again carved achievements by acquiring 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal in The West Java Tapak Suci Championship from 6 athletes sent by the Pimpinan Daerah (Regional Government Board) 186 of Sukabumi.

The three medalists were M. Maulana Rizki, a student of Informatics Engineering (IT) UMMI won the Gold Medal, Hilda Nuraeni Prospective Student of Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department (PJKR) UMMI won a Silver Medal and Muslihin, student of Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department won Bronze Medal.

The event which was held by the Central Board and West Java Regional Board of Tapak Suci at the Bandung Muhmmadiyah Building on 2-4 July 2019 is a selection phase for the upcoming Tapak Suci World Championship in August 2019, in Solo.

Fahmi Maulana, Chairperson of PIMDA 186 of Sukabumi expressed his gratitude for all the support and attention both morally and materially by UMMI in the achievement development.

"Alhamdulillah, the achievements of Tapak Suci in Sukabumi began to show its fangs. All thanks to achievement training at UMMI through Student Activity Unit and through Tapak Suci learning in PJKR Department. Several national events have been participated by Tapak Suci Student Activity Unit which always brings encouraging results. One of UMMI student namely Maulana, a student from Informatics Engineering Department who has been selected to go to PENCAK SILAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in August in Solo, has made citizens of Sukabumi, West Java and Muhammadiyah proud." he said.
